Overview
The Education Initiative is a comprehensive support program that aims to:
- Promote early access to education by reducing financial barriers for families.
- Equip students with the basic tools needed to succeed in school.
- Support the long-term academic journey of deserving youth through future scholarships.
- Strengthen community-school partnerships for better educational outcomes.

Objectives
- Alleviate financial stress on families by covering partial or full tuition costs.
- Improve the learning environment by supplying essential school materials.
- Build long-term opportunities through scholarships for secondary and tertiary education.
- Foster accountability and growth by monitoring progress and gathering community feedback.

Targeted Communities
Initially, our initiative will be implemented in Cameroon, focusing on:
- Children from low-income or vulnerable households.
- Families affected by displacement, unemployment, or crisis.
- Rural and peri-urban areas with limited access to educational resources.
- Initial target locations include Bamenda (Northwest Region), Buea (Southwest Region), and Yaoundé (Center)
Core Actions
Tuition Assistance Program
- Identify students in financial distress in partnership with school administrators, local leaders, and parents’ associations.
- Provide full or partial payment of school fees directly to accredited institutions.
School Supply Distribution
Organize annual school supply drives to distribute: notebooks, writing instruments, school bags, uniforms, shoes, and hygiene kits.
Educational Needs Assessment
Collaborate with schools to identify infrastructure needs, learning material shortages, and gaps in teacher support.
Scholarship Fund Development
Create transparent criteria for awarding scholarships to high-performing students from low-income backgrounds.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting (MER)
Track school attendance, academic performance, and personal development of supported students. Publish annual impact reports.

Higher Dreams – Scholarship Fund (Pilot Phase)
Enable high-achieving, low-income students to access higher education by easing the financial burden of university entry.

Future Coders – Tech & Coding Bootcamp
To equip underserved youth in Cameroon with digital literacy and foundational coding skills, preparing them for emerging opportunities in the global tech economy.

Pedal to Class – Student Bicycle Mobility Program
To reduce the physical barriers to education for rural students by providing reliable bicycles for daily travel to and from school.

Outcomes
To ensure long-term success and scalability:
- Engage with local schools, churches, and community-based organizations.
- Launch targeted fundraising campaigns and seek corporate sponsors and grant opportunities.
- Recruit local volunteers for distribution, mentorship, and follow-up support.
- Include families and schools in planning and evaluation to adapt programs to changing needs.
